Classical Pilates - For You.

Classical Pilates is the practice in its truest form, also known as Authentic Pilates.

The exercises, order, and transitions are deliberately designed so that each movement prepares the body for the next, resulting in a balanced, safe, and deeply effective practice.

Benefits include better posture, coordination, balance, flexibility, and strength. It can prevent injuries and enhance your training and recovery periods, so your body can work more efficiently.

Pilates targets all muscle groups through strength, stretch, and control.

It is the ultimate mindful training practice, aiding stress and anxiety relief through breathing exercises.

Classical Pilates teachers are required to go through a rigorous training programme with a minimum of 600 hours of training under teachers who are within the lineage of Joseph Pilates.

My Pilates journey began in 2002 with mat and full equipment qualification through Polestar Pilates. Two years later, I opened my first studio, Prolates, in Kensington, London.

In 2011, I opened a studio in Weybridge called Reformer Club, where I continued to build a strong and supportive Pilates community.

It was during this time that I qualified as a Classical Pilates teacher as my passion for the Method grew. I gained a deeper respect for the origins of the work, inspired by the original teachings of Joseph Pilates.
